Collins, Perpetua Mary (Sneck) "Heaven gained another angel today" It is with very heavy hearts, that we announce the passing of our beautiful daughter, sister and aunt. She left this world as innocent as she arrived on April 13, 2017 at the age of 54. Predeceased by her grandparents Reginald & Mary Collins and Joseph & Elsie Greene, her brother-in-law Paul Allen and her sister by heart Susie Loveridge, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Left to mourn her loving and devoted parents, William and Loretta Collins. Her seven siblings: Cindy (Leonard Power), Lorne (Annie), Wanda (Ed Sisk), Owen (Shirley), Tammy Allen, Janine (Frank McGrath) and Mandy (Mike Schneider); 17 nieces and nephews Leslie, Michael, Robin (Peter), Billy (Alicia), William (Jade), Adam (Melissa), Evan (Keisha), Liam (Haley), Kaitlin (Lee), Mollie (Kyle), Kelsey, Brady (Amber), Keegan, Ethan, Ali, Chaya and Miriam and five great nieces and nephews Lilly, Joseph, Aiden, Nash and Caroline, and her four legged companion Kaci. Her parents and siblings would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Perpetua's extended family, which includes her large circle of family, friends and neighbours. You played such an important part in filling her life with love and celebration. We continue to feel that love even in our sorrow. Our cousins Noella and Rossie, your love and care these last few months meant more than we can express. While it would be impossible to acknowledge the many calls, visits and posts, please know that we appreciate every gesture. The family wishes to thank the staff and residents of Lions Manor who became such an important part of our family these past four months. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home Placentia on Friday, April 14th to Sunday, April 16th (2:00 – 9:00). Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Monday, April 17th, from Sacred Heart Church, Placentia at 11:00. Interment to follow in Coombs Memorial Cemetery, Southeast. Down Syndrome Awareness is represented by the colors yellow and blue. The family would like to ask those attending her funeral, if possible, to wear those colors, in her honor. Flowers gratefully accepted, or donations can be made to the Down Syndrome Society or the Alzheimer’s Society
