Fidelis John Whittle-- Passed away peacefully on Oct 1st, 2015 from Alzheimer's Fidelis Whittle age 72 years. Fidelis was born in St. Kyrans, and raised in Freshwater Placentia Bay. He worked 30 years as an electrician for the Iron Ore Company of Canada in Labrador City. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his family; his loving wife wife Noreen (Cole) of 49 years, son Joseph (Lori Winsor), daughter Colleen (Craig Joy), sister Anne Griffen and family, brother John (Irene), brother Gerard (Betty), nephews, nieces, and extended family and friends.
Cremation to take place. Visitation at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia, Sunday, Oct 4th 2-9 pm. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday October 5, 2015 at Holy Rosary Church, Freshwater at 12:00 p.m. with inurnment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Freshwater.
