CAREEN, Philip Joseph — Passed peacefully away at the Placentia Health Care Centre on Sunday, June 17, 2007 after a lengthy illness with cancer, Philip Joseph Careen, age 60 years of Point Lance, SMB. Predeceased by his father Richard Sr., brother Richard Jr., sister Marie and nephew Jamie Nash. Leaving to mourn his mother Theresa Careen (Pt. Lance), brothers Aloysius and Denise (Pt. Lance), Gordon and Floss (Pt. Lance) Albert and Noreen (Lab. City), sisters Kay Power (St. John's), Florence and Wish Power (St. John's), Jeannie Careen (Louie), Ft. McMurray, Betty and Clarence Culleton (Wabush) and Theresa Nash (Derek), St. John's also a large circle of nephews and nieces and other relatives and friends. Resting at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Point Lance. Funeral Mass to take place at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2007, with interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Point Lance. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia.
