Newman, Majella (Mel) - of Montreal, QC formerly of Placentia, NL, passed peacefully away at Royal Victoria Hospital on Friday, November 2, 2012, age 60 years. Predeceased by his mother and father, Agatha and James Newman. Leaving to mourn son Brian Newman (Suzanne), daughter Joanne Newman (Steve): grandchildren Isabella Newman and Sophia Newman, Keianna and Cierra Pringle: Sisters Mary Kerrivan (Mike) and Theresa Carroll (Joe), a number of neices and nephews, grand neices and grand nephews and life long friend Derm Hann.. Memorial Service to be held at Coombs Funeral Home in Placentia at a time to be determined
