Harry Reginald Greene August 24, 1947 to September 19, 2023 He passed away peacefully at home with partner, Frona May at his side. Predeceased by his mother and father, Reginald and Regina Greene; wife, Eva Jacobs-Greene; mother of his children, Lynn Zenhenko-Greene; son, Owen Patton; daughter in law, Eid Nelson; sisters and brother in laws, Sylvia (Adrienne) Meade and Linda (Bob) Hapgood, Howard Vallis. He is survived by children, Kimberley (Roger) Nelson, Jason (Regeanne) Saxon, Jason Nelson, Harry (Tabitha) Greene, Lynn (Shane) Morash; grandson, Owen (Alice) Greene; great grandchildren, Jackson and Hadlee; brothers, Matt (Sylvia) Greene, Albert (Sharon) Greene, Brendan (Kathy) Greene, Reggie Greene, sisters, Rose Vallis, Jean Ann (Vince) O'Keefe, Shirley (Barry) Biggin and many nieces and nephews. He worked many years in many different jobs from painting Army bases as a teen to opening a moving company in Toronto to working underground as a Heavy duty mechanic at Hemlo Gold mine where he retired. Even retired he continued to work at the legion and as a cab driver always busy and on the go. He always had a good joke or a good story usually involving some escapade with Uncle Ally and loved hunting and fishing, his best memories though were of his kids and family. Born and raised in Placentia Nfld he always said it was home. Cremation has occurred and he will be laid to rest there. A celebration of life will occur August 24, 2024 at Coombs Funeral Home. Thank you to the first responders from Hubbard’s who attended to him in our time of need their care and compassion is remembered with thanks. Donations if any can be made to local shelters in honor of Max I'm sure he was waiting for dad at the rainbow Bridge probably terrorizing everyone till he got there or to the Canadian Cancer Society in honor of his family members lost to cancer. Visitation will take place at Coombs Funeral Home at a time and date to be given later.
