Passed away at the Lions Manor Nursing Home, Placentia on Thursday, January 13, 2022 Lester Lockyer age 85 years of Dunville, formerly of Isle Au Valen.
Predeceased by his wife Annie, his parents Phoebe and Frank Lockyer, brothers Freeman Lockyer and
George Lockyer, and sister Rita.
He leaves to mourn his children Rita (Jim), Violet ( Gerald), Marjorie(Gordon) and Lester (Lisa), grandchildren Angie, Stephane, Sarah, Samantha, Stacy, Nathan, Kaitlyn and Madison, great grandchildren Alicia, Carrie, Chloe and Alba. sisters Madonna Drover and Mondella Adams, brothers Rex Lockyer and Alfred Lockyer (Shirley). brother in laws: Stan Peddle (Nellie) , Clyde Peddle (Martina), Murdock Peddle,, sister in law Rita Lockyer, sister in law: Dorcas Upshall also a special sister in law Marjorie Cranford also a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will take place on January 14 from: 4:00 - 7:00. FAMILY ONLY DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS.
Funeral Service will take place at COOMBS MEMORIAL CHAPEL, SATURDAY AT 1:30 P.M. DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS THIS IS FOR FAMILY ONLY.
Interment will take place in the Anglican Cemetery, Dunville.
Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, no flowers by request..

Out of an abundance of caution, we will continue to operate at 50% capacity (20 people per visitation room at one time and 50 guests, including staff and the officiant, for chapel services). All guests attending public visitations must be fully vaccinated and will be required to show proof upon entry.
