Dan, so sorry to hear of your father's death. I met your folks back when you were a small boy, though you probably don't remember me. Your father was a remarkable and memorable character and I loved his sense of humour, and playing music with him. I saw him last at the HSC not too many years ago. Hard to believe he is gone. Deepest condolences.

Dan was a genius in carpentry, mechanical work , music, carving etc. He had a gift of multiple talents but his greatest work was you, young Dan. With Barb , your Mom, thet reached the stars and I personally know how much they Loved you. My Mom and Dad loved you so much.
I've always had a special spot for Dan and know he will rest in peace.

Dan, My condolences on the passing of your father. He was a very interesting man to say the least! I can remember him and your mother playing for a dance at St. Anne's hall with him playing a guitar he made and a home made "Leslie speaker" for your mothers keyboard. As well I saw an carving he was doing of the Newfoundland Coat of Arms, I hope the treasure trove of memories he left with you will comfort you and family through this time.
