Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family on January 29, at the Lions Manor Nursing Home in Placentia, Elizabeth Dohey (nee Young) of St. Bride's age 87 years. Predeceased by her husband Martin (2009), her parents Robert and Elsie(Young), her granddaughter Courtney(2017), her brothers and sisters: Val, Katie (David), Christie (Dolph),and Bert. Left with broken hearts, but fond and loving memories her children: Clarence, Eugene (Hilda), Richard and Marilyn(Eugene), Grandchildren: Trent (Sara), Jason (Charlene), Jennifer (Scott), Dale (Kristine), Eugene (Anna), Great Grandchildren: Reid, Brody, Cameron, Finlay, Fletcher, MJ, Colleen, Charlie and Jack, sisters: Mary (Raymond, deceased) and Margaret (Joseph), sister in law: Theresa Young, and a number of other relatives and friends. The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to the Staff at Lions Manor Nursing Home, especially the staff on Unit 2 where Mom received exceptional care for the past seven and a half years and special thanks are extended to the nurses and staff in Palliative Care who provided exceptional care in her last hours. Visitation will take place at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Sunday January 31, from 11:00 A.M. - 8:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, February 1, 2021, at Sacred Heart Church, St. Bride's at 1:00 p.m., ( It is asked that all those attending the Funeral Mass be at the Church by 12:30 and is only by invitation only) Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Bride's. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Public Health Emergency, visitation is permitted with restrictions. The maximum number of people permitted in the visitation room at one time is 20 people. All visitors must sign in and sign out for contact tracing purposes, and masks must be worn at all times. Hand sanitizer will be provided and is to be used upon entering and exiting the building
