It’s in moments like this that your mind is sent back in time. Lizzie was always up for a good chat and a hearty laugh. As you strolled along Dohey’s square heading to or from the church, library, or school Lizzie would abandon her chores and bring you into a good ole fashioned yarn. She had an infectious laugh and an ageless humour. She manifested the fountain of youth in her eagerness and willingness to mingle with us all, young and old. May she Rest In Peace.

Richard, Marilyn, Eugene and Clarence:
Al and I extend our deepest condolences to you on the loss of your mom. While dementia may have impacted her social and daily activities over the past years, your mom's ability to share a story and hearty laugh still defined the wonderful lady that she was. I enjoyed many positive encounters with her when visiting Mom at the Lions Manor, as well as the company of Richard and Marilyn. In the days ahead, may you find strength and peace in the many memories that you shared together. Be assured that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

My deepest condolences on the loss of Lizzie. She was a wonderful lady who will be missed. She always had time for a chat and, of course, a laugh every time you met her. Many stories were told as she leaned on the fence when you were going around the turn. I know her last years have been very challenging but find comfort in knowing she is now at peace. You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Family and Friends of Mrs. Lizzy:
I extend my sincere sympathy on the passing of Lizzy. Great lady. I am sure in the midst of your loss, there is gratitude for a life well lived. The past years were challenging especially with dementia. The truth is : the only key that can unlock the door of dementia is death. Be assured of my prayers and I will remember her at mass today.
Blessings

Marilyn, Clarence, Eugene and Richard: Rose and I offer our deepest condolences on the passing of your Mom. For myself it is another trip down Nostalgia's Lane as another of our "first generation of Fatima's parents" passes on. Your Mom was a valued member of the school community and was totally committed to your education and future well being. I remember, well, when she would visit the school to get your progress reports. When the business of your progress was dealt with there was always time for a story and a laugh - indeed that continued when our paths would cross after you had graduated from school. As you celebrate the life of your Mom and mourn her passing during these difficult times, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless.
