Chubbs, Dorothy (Pack) Feb 12th, 1944 - Nov 23rd 2019.

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our sister Dorothy F Chubbs-Pack on Nov 23rd, 2019 at the L.A. Miller Centre, surrounded by her loving family.  Daughter of George & Mary Chubbs of Placentia. She is predeceased by her parents George and Mary Chubbs, brother George and sister June.

She leaves to mourn her beloved daughter, Sherrie. Also leaving to mourn with precious memories her brothers: Leon, Robert (Richard), Carl (Judy) and Gary (Polly) and sisters: Lorraine, Maxine, and Cynthia (Richard). Also left with great memories are her nieces; Gail, Missy, Shannon, Jennifer, Jackie, Jeanine, Leah (Olivia) , Shauna, and nephews; Tommy, Billy, Bobby, Andrew, Matthew and Johnathan, along with many great nieces and nephews and with a very large circle of relatives and friends.

Dorothy graduated with her RN from the General Hospital's School of Nursing in 1977. She later graduated from Memorial University in 1979 with a diploma in Community Mental Health. Nursing was her life's passion!.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the medical professionals who cared for Dorothy at St. Clare's Hospital and, as well, to the palliative staff at the L.A. Miller Centre for their care and compassion. We were so impressed with the professionalism and kindness of her whole team.  We wouild also like to say a thank you to Aaron (Ernie) Norman, Wanda Martin - Paul and Creed, Pastor Glenn,  Mary Ann Quinlan and friends, Chris Newhook,  and the Collins Family.  We know at this time we have have overlooked some people, but please know we thank all who have helped us,

Visitation will take place at Coombs Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 from 9:00 a.m - 10:30 a.m.

Funeral Service will take place at St. Luke's Anglican Church, Placentia on Wednesday, November 27th at 11:00 a.m.

Inurnment to follow in Coombs Memorial Cemetery.

A reception will follow at the Three Sisters Restaurant, Placentia
