​Passed away at St. Clare's Hospital on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 Mrs. Lena Barry of St. Bride's (formerly of Red Island)  age 87 years.  Predeceased by her husband Lawrence and sister Annie Judge. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Lar (Bernadette), Leonard (Nancy), Ernest (Candice), Eileen (John), Anthony (Vivian), Janet (Don), Paddy (Doreen), Tommy (Rowena), Gerald, Maureen, Sheila (John), Darlene (Norman), and Tina (Pat), 16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, many neices and nephews and a large circle of  other relatives and friends.  Resting  at  Sacred Heart Church, St. Bride's  5- 9 on Thursday, November 23 and 10 - 9 on Friday, November 24.  Funeral Mass to take place on Saturday, November 25 at 11:00.  Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Bride's.
