Hynes, Passed away at the Placentia Health Care Center on June 30, 2016 Genevieve Maud Hynes (Traverse) age 84 years, formerly of Freshwater. Predeceased by her parents Aloysius & Gertrude Traverse, husband Cecil, son Adrian, two children, brother Dan (Bernadette),granddaughter Wanda , grandson Blake, sister Imelda, daughter-in-law Veronica Hynes, son-in-law Ron Griffiths and brother-in-law Edward Duke. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons Gerard (Mary), Walter (Debra), Stephen (Colleen) and Douglas (Cindy), daughter Cecilia (Albert), daughter-in-law Ida Hynes (Tot), grandchildren: Kim Follett (Derrick), Holly (Craig Froehlich), Cyril (Tammy), Nathan, Evan (Jamie), Daniel, Ronnie, Scott, Charmaine, Sherry, Glenda, Shianne, Madison, Savannah, Daniel, Martina and Daniel, great-grandchildren: Haley, Adrianna, Shianne, Nicholas, Brady, Christon, Cody, Matthew, Ethan, Ryan, Patrick, Asthon, Brody, Jaxon, and Rylan, brothers Gordon (Bridget), Neil (Glenda), Derm (Myrtle), and Frank (Rose), sister Bernice Duke, brother-in-law Kelson Coffin. a large number of nephews and nieces (especially nieces Chink & Barb),and a large circle of other relatives and friends including the staff of unit 3 at the Lions Manor Nursing Home, Placentia, and the Dr’s and nurses at the Placentia Health Care Center. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Friday July 1, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m., Funeral Mass to take place at Holy Rosary Church Freshwater on Saturday July 2, 2016 at 11:00 A.M., with interment to follow in Coombs Memorial Cemetery
