Obituary of Pius Aloysius Murphy

Passed away at the Placentia Health Care Center on Monday, May 23, 2016, Mr. Pius Murphy age 89 of Freshwater ( formerly of Iona). Predeceased by his wife Beatrice on March 28, 2016, parents Dennis and Mary Murphy; brothers Ned (Bridge), Dennis (Rose), Francis (Hannah), Ron (Rita), Jack (Adrienne) and sister Nellie (Hubert) Folkes. Leaving to mourn daughter Ann (Bud) Smith,Dunville, grandchildren Nancy (Darren MacDonald), Ft McMurray, Michael (Susan),St. Philips, great grandson Rory MacDonald, many nieces, nephews and friends especially Wayne Fulford and Tony Barry. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home on Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 - 9:00. Funeral Mass to take place at Holy Rosary Church, Freshwater on Friday May 27, 2016 at 11:00 A.M., with interment to follow in Coombs Memorial Cemetery, Southeast.
