Rhonda, Brad, and Courtney: I have known your mom for over 40 years and for the past 30 she has been such a good friend of mine. I have never known a more vibrant, fun and strong person. The last 3 and half months through this ordeal, you all pulled together and were so strong for one another and especially your mom. She was tough but she was so proud of you all and loved you all so much!
Bill: She loved you to the moon and back! Although, one time during her sickness, she did say it was painful to watch you sweep the floor lol. I remember at Bernice’s birthday party, you managed to get one dance from your wife (because everyone else was nabbing you for a dance lol). It was a slow dance and I noticed how you two held each other close as you waltzed. My thoughts were, wow, they truly love each other. You both were a strong team that no one could cut in between. I admired that so much! She was not one to express her feelings freely but during many of our night time conversations, she sure praised you to the highest.
Blake, Rylan, Tyson, and Joseph: You guys were her top priority. She raved and raved about her grandchildren all the time. She was always genuinely interested in everything that each and every one of you did. From school, sports, and sleep overs she just could not get enough of you. You all were her pride and joy and there was nothing that she would not do for you. She loved her babies so much!
Me: We had a friendship like no other. Nothing was unsaid or overlooked. We understood each other with no expectations. In her final days, she had Rhonda bring me a gift for Christmas she had for me. It was a blanket just like the one she had throughout her sickness and one that I admired so much. When I opened it, I was a totally surprised and I was so happy and honored to have one just like hers. After opening it, I looked up at her in her hospital bed with a smile on her face. I said to her, this is one time you are getting a kiss from me and you can’t do anything to stop it lol. I rushed over and kissed her on the cheek and gave her a hug. She scrunched up her shoulders and had the biggest ol smile on her face. Marilyn was always so tough on the outside but on the inside, she did have a big heart and lots of kindness for everyone. I have so many stories and memories but not enough room to share it all. No words can express how much I miss her already. I am thankful to have known her and I will never forget her. RIP my friend! Until we meet again!

Bill, Rhonda, brad and Courtney I can not say any words that will make the loss of your wonderful wife and mother easy. Let it be known that her passing is felt by all who knew her, especially the Bonds Path crowd. We are also thinking about her Sisters and brothers who loved her dearly. I guess from this point we cling to the memories. One such memory is when I was away working my wife was home alone and got frightened when she heard someone outside. She called my sister Joan's house but she was down with Marilyn. My wife called Marilyn's house and she said "I'm on it" Over she comes to my house with baseball bat in hand and said where is the f$&@;r? She searched the peramiter of the house and didn't find the people. However I have no doubt She drove them away. Thanks Marilyn for protecting my family when I couldn't.

Bill and family,
Please accept our heartfelt sympathy as you mourn the sad loss of your life partner, mother and nan.
Marilyn was a special soul, we feel your pain and will always remember her with fondness.
In spite of seasickness she loved everything about Merasheen but the journey to and from, and my, how she fit in.
Just four short months ago we sat on our deck at the cabin. Bill and Marilyn had made a quick trip for the weekend and she was explaining why. "We were not going to come but I said to Bill. You built that cabin and we are going to go and enjoy it. You never know how long you are going to have the opportunity to do that." You never really know.
God rest her soul.
Hugs.
