Passed peacefully away at the Lions Manor Nursing Home, Placentia on Saturday June 13, 2015 Mercedes King (Meade) in her 96th year. Predeceased by husband Frank, son Freddie, son-in-law Nicholas Lannon, 5 sisters and 3 brothers. Leaving to mourn daughter Shirley Lannon, 6 grandchildren Brian (Corinne), Nick (Kim), Darlene (Howie), Derek, Kimberly and Shawn, great-grandchildren, and a large circle of family and friends especially the staff and residents at the Lions Manor Nursing Home, and Beachside Manor. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Sunday from 2:00 - 5:00 & 7:00 - 9:00. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday June 15, 2015 at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia at 2:00 p.m, with interment to follow in Coombs Memorial Cemetery, Southeast.
