My deepest sympathy goes out to all the Murphy family. The wonderful memories I have growing up in Dunville "across the road " from the Murphy family. Your mom and my mom were such good friends. May you find comfort in the wonderful memories you have of Tommy. "Life brings tears, smiles and memories The tears dry The smiles fade But the memories live on forever"

Mercedes and family and Toms brothers and sisters..I was so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I got to know Tom through his many visits to the gas bar when I worked there. He was always pleasant and cheerful. We would have a chat and a laugh. He was would usually be looking for a movie, sometimes it would turn out to be a sleeper. I was always asking about his apples, and teasing him about going down to steal them. He never forgot to get some candy bars for himself and Mercedes. I hope you all find solace in your many happy memories that you have of your times together. Mercedes I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. May God Bless you all. Rest in Peace Tom.

To: Mercedes and children,Lillian & the remainder of the Murphy family; I am so very sorry to hear of Tom's passing. We went to high school together and were in the same graduating class in 1963.He was one of a fine group of students from Dunville who joined us in grade 8 at Sacred Heart Regional High in Placentia where we went to high school. Tom was always a very quiet young man and I remember him as a very gentle person with a pleasant smile.I did know that he had retired from The Canadian Forces but unfortunately had not seen him in many years. Tom was from a large family and I know that as you all come together to celebrate his life you will be sharing many wonderful memories of Tom and of growing up together in Dunville.I'm sure his wife and children will find comfort in sharing their cherished times with Tom,too. May his sweet soul rest in the Everlasting Peace of Our Lord's Garden. God's Peace and Strength to all of you at this sad time in your lives. I shall remember you in thought and prayer as you find your way through the difficult days ahead. ~~~ Very sincerely, Patsy
