Careen, Theresa (Mrs. Tessie) (nee McGrath)--Passed peacefully away on January 29, 2011 at the Placentia Health Care Center, Tessie Careen age 91 years of Point Lance, SMB. Predeceased by her husband Richard (Dick), sons Richard and Phil, infant daughter Marie, step daughter Catherine Ellen Power, grandson Jamie Nash, parents Albert and Mary Joe McGrath, brothers Millie, Austin & John, sisters Lena, Agnes & Hannah, Leaving to mourn are her sons Gordon (Floss), Aloysius (Judy), Point Lance, Albert (Noreen) Labrador City, daughters Florence (Aloysius Power), Theresa Nash (Derek Hayter) St. John's, Jeannie Careen (Louis Ferreira) Ft. McMurray & Betty (Clarence Culleton) Wabush, special grand daughter Karen Daley Campbell, 24 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, especially her homecare workers Dolores O'Keefe & Betty Gardiner. Resting at her home in Point Lance. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday February 1, 2011 at 2:00 from Mary Queen of Peace Church, Point Lance. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Point Lance.
