Duke, James Patrick (Puddin) - Retired CN Marine Worker -- Passed away at the Placentia Health Care Center on Monday, January 11, 2010 James "Puddin" Duke age 73 of Fox Harbour, P. Bay. Predeceased by his parents William & Margaret Duke, sisters' Mary & Bridget, his mother & father-in-law William & Jane Murray, his brothers-in-law Robert Murray, Ronald Spurvey, Donald King, Tom Roache & Leo Traverse. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Gertrude, son's William (Joanne and their children Dylan, Shannon & Victoria), Robert (Wanda and their children Jessica & Meghan), Jamie (Lynette and their child McKenna), Richard (Isabella and their children Richard & Colin) & Jim (Michelle and their children Jamie, Joshua & Jonathon), sister's Sara, Nell (Frank), Dot & Peg (Terry), sisters in law Jeanette, Madeline, Laura, Ethel, Anne, Mag, Marian & Jean, brothers in law Mike , Raymond and their families, his special friend's Don, Kyran, Leo, Peter, Wish, Jose, Maggie, Anslem & Lippy, also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Tuesday, January 12 @ 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 13 from 10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Thursday, January 14 at Sacred Heart Church, Fox Harbour at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Fox Harbour.
