My Condolences to all the family. Uncle Ned was a great man and lived a long life with us. He will be sadly missed and never forgotten. I will always remember our family vacations to St.Bride's and visiting Uncle Ned & Aunt Stella. You were always welcome in there home even though they were so afraid Blacky the dog would snap at us when we were kids. Uncle Ned will now join Aunt Stella in happiness. I will always remember the smiles and the positive comments in life he gave to me. RIP Uncle Ned. I think of you often. All my love, Lona Conway (Daughter of Ned & Berniece Conway)

Dear Aunt Theresa & Aunt Annie,I know your hearts are heavy now with the passing of Uncle Ned. He went through a lot of pain & suffering, especially this past year. I think we all thought he would live forever - always with that big smile & quick wit. He's at peace now with his beloved Aunt Stella. He has a lot of relatives & friends that,I'm sure, were all there to meet him at Heaven's Gate. From as long as I can remember(I'll be 63 on the 18th) I don't remember a cross word between the six of you -Aunt Margaret,Uncle Paddy,Dad.Uncle Ned & yourselves -.I know times were very tough in the early years but you all stood by one another over the years and maintained that special bond to this day. To my cousins -The Roches,Conways & Powers & my brothers and sister-We'll all miss Uncle Ned and remember fondly all our visits with him & Aunt Stella.I've been pondering over the past three days so many stories he told us and I'm sure you've been doing the same -exchanging his witty tales & experiences. As Fred & Joan Careen put it in their e-mail he's getting someone going about politics or some other topic and playing the devil's advocate --all the time enjoying himself but never to hurt someone's feelings. Anyone that knew him would give as good as he'd send & he loved that! We were all his & Aunt Stella's children including her nieces & nephews -especially Bride,Gertie,Eileen,Nellie,Henry & Neil -who appreciated him as a special Uncle as well and visited him often. Thank you to all who visited him in hospital and Seniors' Centre at Placentia, brought him a meal of fish, duck, homemade bread, cake etc. To all who kept vigil with my brothers Nick & Tom,cousins Billy & Carmel Conway ,Wishie Power,& friends Felix McGrath & wife,a very sincere thank you. To Anthony,I'm thinking of you as well and know you're there to escort him to his final resting place "The Little Barren " in our much-loved community Of Pt. Lance. God;s Peace and Blessings to all. -Patsy (Calgary)

Our sympathy and prayers are with all who mourn. We reflect and cherish the memories of Ned that we have especially when visiting him in Newfoundland. Just a month ago was a sad visit as we knew it would be our last to see him alive. In the midst of this sadness we do believe the angels are rejoicing as Ned is once again joined with his greatest love, Aunt Stella. Forever in our hearts and prayers, Eileen and John Voisin
