The family of the late Patricia (Patsy) Marie Healey extend their deep gratitude to all of those who supported us during her illness and upon her departure from this life. The dark shroud of sorrow that weighs so very heavily upon our hearts has been eased by your love, thoughts and prayers. Your reflections and stories of Patsy have been salve to our tears and it has brought us comfort to know that we do not grieve in solitude and that Patsy was well-loved by so many.
Sincerely,
Martin Healey, children, Lynn, Frank, Paul and David, the extended Healey Family and the Wakeham Family
In memory of a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend - forever loved and missed
Stand sentinel over us,
extend your hand when we falter,
embrace us when we too cross death's pale

Uncle Martin, Lynn, Frank, Paul, David and Wakeham family, Please know my heart is with you in grief and sorrow for the loss of Aunt Patsy. The happiest times of my life were summers spent in NL, the best of which were with you guys next door. I will always remember kids and friends sitting on the back step being called in to eat. Aunt Patsy was such a wonderful cook and fed everyone we dragged home. She was not only a kind, generous and beautiful person, but had a great sense of humor too. I love playing bingo still because of her:-) Although visits later became few and far between, I was so happy to see her and have her see Zoe as a baby at Frank's wedding, and then Suzanna when they last visited us here. I really wish they had gotten the chance to know and love her as I always will. In Time of Sorrow… May you see God’s light on the path ahead When the road you walk is dark. May you always hear, Even in your hour of sorrow, The gentle singing of the lark. When times are hard may hardness Never turn your heart to stone, May you always remember when the shadows fall – You do not walk alone. -an Irish prayer all our thoughts, love and prayers with you all C-Ann, Zoe & Suzanna

To: Martin, Lynn, Frank, Paul, Dave and grandchildren My family will greatly miss Patsy. In our hearts she was a caring person, she opened her house to our son Michael during his schooling in Edmonton. Patsy offered her tiny apartment for us to stay during our many visits to Edmonton and continued to welcome us to stay with them in her new home in Clearview area. She loved to travel visiting relatives in near and far places. She passed some hand- me down clothes to my children. That was how she cared for us. Patsy raised four wonderful and successful children and she had 6 grandchildren. During her many visits with us in Winnipeg I had to stay away from my kitchen, she loved to cook for the crowd and made sure everyone had something to eat. Martin her husband carries a trunk full of clothes and no place for Patsy to put her clothing. She would go to Wal-Mart and buy clothes and she would leave them for me after it was washed and shrunk. Patsy and I had fun memories going to the casino, we always wished that we could win big money. She was good at playing Bingo. She called bingo for me while I was still looking for the winning numbers. Patsy was thoughtful she visited my mother and also cheered my mother up. My mother's Bible verse for her was in John 14:6 , says " I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me ." Patsy experienced lots of pain. She tried to live the fullest. Where she is right now, she is happy singing, dancing and walking in the garden with no pain. Because God offers eternal life. John 3:16 " For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and the only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him shall never perish but have everlasting life." Patsy loved everybody, she was also forgiving and her legacy will remain in our hearts. Revelation 21:4 " And God will wipe every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death or mourning or crying or pain; for the old order of things has passed away." We thank you, we love you, 'til we meet again. From: Harold ( Martin's brother ) Bernadette ( wife) and ( children ) Michael, Philip and Jonathan Healey.

Martin & family and Wakeham family and all other friends of Patsy, we are so saddened to hear of Patsy's passing. We had the honour of getting to know Patsy, Martin & family back in the 1990's when our son played in a hockey tournament in Edmonton. Martin noticed a hockey jersey with McGrath then asked around if we were Newfoundlanders. He knew the team was from Fort McMurray and a chance we were from Newfoundland . Little did we know they were from home. Patsy and Martin opened their doors to our son who played on a summer Elite hockey team in Edmonton one summer and we became friends from there. The great hospitality from Patsy and Martin will always be remembered. Patsy had the heart of gold and was a very caring person. Over the years we visited with them and chatted lots about home and found out that our Moms were friends in Tops. We visited Patsy in December in hospital and was praying she would recover from her illness but I guess the lord had other plans for her and called her home. May she Rest In Peace, Gone But Never Forgotten!
