Obituary of Mary Moore

Moore, Mary J. (nee Stapleton), born at Riverhead, Hr. Grace, NL, It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of their mom, Mary at the Lions Manor Nursing Home, Placentia on Friday July 19, 2013 at the age of 91 years.. Mary was predeceased by her husband Edward R Moore (1996), parents Patrick and Mary Stapleton, grandson Robin White, sisters Alice Stapleton and Lillian Fahey, brothers Joseph and Norman Stapleton, and Uncle Edward Maloney. Mrs.Moore leaves to mourn her loving and caring family ; daughters Mary (Vic), Florida, Margie (Junior), Florida, Catherine (Terry), Port Au Choix, Bernice, Placentia, Joan (Andy), Placentia, sons Edward (Mary), Placentia, Jim, Ottawa, and Paul (Margaret) Grand Falls, sisters Cecilia Connolly, Toronto, and Isabelle Pike , St. John's. Also leaving to mourn are her 16 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a large number of nephews & nieces,and other relatives and friends along with the staff and residents of the Lions Manor Nursing Home and the Placentia Health Care Center. Visitation to take place at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Sunday July 21, and Monday July 22 from 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Tuesday July 23, at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia at 11:00 a.m., with interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Placentia. No flowers by request, donations may be made to the PLacentia Hospital Ladies Auxillary.
