Catherine Mary White (O'Keefe) February13, 1924-June 19, 2013
Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's on Wednesday, June 19, 2013, aged 89 years of St. Bride's, Placentia Bay. Predeceased by her loving husband Edward, parents Patrick and Mary O'Keefe, son David, granddaugher Gillian, brothers Jerome and Paddy, sisters Mary and Genevieve and brothers in law Jim, Ted and Paul. She leaves to mourn, nine sons: Derm, Jimmy (Lorraine), Clarence, Raymond (Anne), Fred, Billy (Josephine), Tommy (Maude), Eddie (Edna) and Terrence (Wanda); two daughters: Mary and Doris (John). Sisters Rose (Martin), Helen (Isador), Lenor (Kevin), Stella (Pius), Philomena, Dorothy and Rita, twenty-two grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and also a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Sacred Heart Church, St. Bride's. Funeral Mass to take place on Saturday, June 22 at Sacred Heart Church, St. Brides' at 11:00 A.M. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Bride's. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia.
