KING, George Passed peacefully away at the Lions Manor nursing home, Placentia, on Monday, December 31st, 2007, George King, age 76 years, of Placentia. Predeceased by his parents Dennis and Annie (Careen) King, brothers Edward and Raymond, and sister Hannah Daley and sister-in-law Lucy King. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Myra (nee Bird) of 35 years; brothers James and Charles (Jenny); sisters Violet (Ray) Duke and Madeline (John) Power; special sisters-in-law Sadie King and Rita McMenemy; brother-in-law Wesley (Charlotte) Bird; special niece Beverly McEachern, and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Coombs Funerral Home, Placentia on Tuesday, January 1st, 2008 from 7-9 p.m, Wednesday, January 2nd, 2008 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to be held on Thursday, January 3rd, 2008 at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia, at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Mount Carmel. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
