Aunt Aggie was basically the heartbeat of Placentia. Anyone and everyone knew her and she welcomed us all. I have been thinking of all of you and hope your hearts are mending, day by day. Love Nora

I was shocked to hear of Ms. Brennan's sudden passing. It was only a week or so ago I was talking with her at Sobeys, she would always stop me for a chat, or to say hi to my daughter. Having lived in her neighbourhood for many years I know that she was the most kindest, gentle person one could meet. I am very sorry for your loss. As hard as it is, God must have needed her for some special reason. Just know that many people knew her, loved her and had great respect for her, she will be sadly missed but forever remembered. Rest in Peace Ms. Brennan.

Dearest Mary I offer you the following words in the hopes that it may cheer your heart that the precious soul of your Mom is 'home' with her Beloved (God). My prayers are for you and your dear family, that you may be given strength to bear the separation and joy in what you shared these past 75 years. You are loved. Janet Ferguson (@TD Bank) "To consider that after the death of the body the spirit perishes is like imagining that a bird in a cage will be destroyed if the cage is broken, though the bird has nothing to fear from the destruction of the cage. Our body is like the cage, and the spirit is like the bird. We see that without the cage this bird flies in the world of sleep; therefore if the cage becomes broken, the bird will continue and exist: its feelings will be even more powerful, its perceptions greater, and its happiness increased...for the thankful birds there is no paradise greater than freedom from the cage."

Mary, Lucille, Sheila, Bryde, Billy and George! Mom and Dad are a little distraught at the moment and asked me if I would send a note on their behalf. They will see a lot of you over the next few days and I am sure you will all have a lot to reminisce about. Nevertheless, it was important to them to contribute a little something here. Mom and Aunt Aggie weren't only sisters, they were best friends. Her days just won't be the same without her. Dad may be a man of few words but he often spoke fondly of Aunt Aggie. They both loved her and they love all of you. Make sure you stay in touch with them, it would mean a lot!! Submitted by Daughter Nora, for Mary and Allan
