Bruce, Gerard William - October 27, 1956 - October 9, 2006
Passed away peacefully away at the Health Science Center, On Monday October 9, 2006. Gerard William Bruce, age 49 years of Bond Path, Placentia surrounded by his loving family and friends. Predeceased by his wife Mary (2005), Father Bruce & Mother In Law Annie Barry. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories his son Michael Bruce, his mother Margaret Bruce, brothers & sisters Carl (Donna & Family), Paul (& Family), Richard (Anita & Family), Lois (Don & Family), Herman (Lena & Family), Randy (Donna-Marie & Family) & Patti (John & Family), the Barry Family, his close friend and companion, Carl Hefferan, also a large circle of other relatives and friends, including his friends and co-workers at the Canadian Coast Guard. Gerard was a kind and very loving person who genuinely cared about everyone. He will be greatly missed. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home on Tuesday October 10, 2006 from 3-10pm and on Wednesday October 11, 2006 from 2-10pm. Funeral Mass to take place on Thursday October 12, 2006 at 11am at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia. Interment to follow in Coombs Memorial Cemetery, Southeast, Placentia.
