I was so saddened to hear of Dave's passing. Though not having seen him since leaving Rushoon many years ago ,I rememember him fondly. A a new teacher on staff back in the early 80's he was so very welcoming and kind. He had a big heart and always showed concern for his students and colleagues alike. We shared many laughs and had some great fun. My deepest condolences to you all at this very difficult time.

My heartfelt sympathy to Mr.Jarvis's family. He was one of my teachers all through high school in Rushoon at Christ the King School. We have many fond memories of Mr.Jarvis...he had a great passion for teaching....remember him always saying, after a few jokes, "ok...ok now, settle down, let's try to get some work done"....and if we persuaded him enough, he'd always tell us the answers!..and then he'd say "boys..boys what am i going to do with ya"!..My deepest sympathy to the Jarvis family.
