Sending my deepest condolences out to all of Mrs. Helen’s family . Mrs. Helen was always pleasant when I’d meet her and she would have a smile for me . She was my father’s niece, which made us first cousins, but there was a wide age gap with us . Mrs. Helen did a lot of work in our church in Patrick’s Cove and much of it was behind the scenes . May Mrs. Helen Rest in Peace .

David and I are truly saddened to hear about aunt Helen's passing. I have fond childhood memories of feeling excited to visit her and uncle Ronald when we would return to the Cape Shore for a summer vacation. Mom and Aunt Helen would have such laughs together, which always made we smile. She was extremely kind and generous.
When David and I would return home to see mom and dad, we made it a point to drop in to see Aunt Helen, and she would always welcome us with open arms. She will be deeply missed.

Sending my sincere condolences to Mrs. Helen’s family on her passing. She was indeed a very fine lady, I spent many Saturday mornings at her home putting rollers in her hair so she could have her hair done nice for Mass Saturday evening. You often hear people say, “what a great age,” and yes indeed she lived a great age, but when it’s your family it’s only a number-age means nothing. May her gentle soul Rest In Peace.

Tash & all of Mrs. Helen's family, accept my sincere condolences on the passing of a wonderful lady. Mrs. Helen was just like a grandmother to me growing up. She was serious about her game of cards and always accompanied it with a glass of rum. She enjoyed attending darts in the Local Service Building as well, I think her and Nanny Tobin used to compete for the "most skunks" award lol. How often did she say "well the two of ye are some evil" (meaning me and Tash). Her devotion to family and faith, she was a person to be looked up to. May she RIP with her loved ones before her.

Ches, and Family please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of your Mom. Mrs. Helen was a Big part of my life growing up and into adulthood. I would often visit her on trips home along with my Grandmother Eva. They were such good fun to hang out with . Mrs. Helen had one strict condition at her house on Friday evening when I would be there with Ches and that was you were taking part in saying the rosary and there was No disputing it! She always had a meal on the table and gave us our orders before leaving the house that weren't always followed mind you!
She always had a kind word to say and would enjoy telling stories of times gone by. She loved to play darts as well and always enjoyed the comradery with the group. The world has lost another Fine Lady but I hope her and Granny are hanging out again on the other side. Love Always
Rodney

My sincere condolences to all of Mrs. Helen’s family. What a beautiful person who lived a quiet life in the Cove. I would go to the Church on Saturday afternoon to help her get ready for Mass. Even as a young girl I recall being so amazed at how perfectly starched and carefully ironed all the cloths were for the altar. May her legacy of dedication to family and profound faith comfort you as you move forward without Mrs. Helen. May she rest in peace.
