Obituary of Daniel Ignatius Neville

It is with profound sadness that we share the sudden passing of the late Daniel Ignatius Neville on Saturday, November 30th, 2024 at the age of 88 years old. Dan is predeased by his parents, William and Irene Neville, his loving wife, Maude, of 59 years, his eldest son, Wayne, his sister and brother-in-law Mary (Tom) Traverse, his brother, Bill. He will always be remembered by his daughter Maureen (George), his sons Ray (Jesse), Dave (Janet), John, Glenn (Loretta) and Danny. Grandchildren, Sheri (David), Stacy, Jennifer (Todd), Patrick (Sarah), Danielle (Mark), Vanessa, Robyn (Josh), Paul, David, Gabrielle, Kaiden, Kolby, Summer, Kayleigh, 13 Great-Grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. Dan was a faithful employee of 32 years at the Argentia Naval Base until retiring in 1991. He was a member of the Star of the Sea Association where he enjoyed many games of rummy with his buddies. He was also an avid reader and loved a good game of bingo. Special thanks to the nurses and doctors at the Placentia Hospital for your care. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Monday, December 2nd from 10 am - 9 pm; Tuesday, December 3rd from 9-11 am. Service to follow at Coombs Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, December 3rd at 11 am. Interment to follow in Coombs Memorial Cemetery, Southeast, Placentia.
