Obituary of Parker Traverse

Please share a memory of Parker to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with tremendous sadness and broken hearts, we, Parker's parents, Sarina Wadman and Wade Traverse, announce the sudden passing of our beautiful boy at the tender age of 8 years young. Altho, he started out so small, he was mighty in so many ways. He overcame so many struggles and challenges in his little life, always with a smile that lit up a room and a laugh so hardy that surely he brought it up right from the very pits of his stomach. He was a happy boy and a gentle soul who loved and was loved by so many. He was someone who touched hearts his whole life, not just parts of it. Altho his path was short, he gathered new friends and family all along the way. He knew more love than we could have ever hoped for him. Parker leaves so many with broken hearts. Mourning his loss with us is his sister Terra and little brother Hayden. His nannies and Poppies, Poppy Frank(his best buddy) and Nanny Judy, Na Nanny and Poppy Roche, Nanny Mel and Nana and Poppa Flood. Aunties, Melissa Wadman, Julie Traverse and Shantelle Clarke. Uncles, Sheldon Clarke and Jamie Dunlap, Step-Aunts Lisa Griffiths, Joanne and Amanda Bishop, Step-uncle Kevin and some very special cousins and friends, Maria and Sheldon Clarke Jr.,Jackson Deering and Sera and Christian Dunlap and a large circle of great aunts and uncles who also love him dearly. Parker was quick to warm the hearts of the community as well, including members at The Placentia Health Center, Lawtons 126, Dunville and Placentia Lions Clubs and his enormous family and little friends at St.Annes Academy. So many people showed up countless times for Parker over his 8 years, when he needed you all the most. We are forever grateful for all the love and care he and our family was shown over the years. Parkers successes are also contributed to the amazing team he acquired at the Janeway. A team that quickly became family. His medical team also included some pretty awesome respite friends. Ms.Jane, Nanny Rose and Uncle Jeppy(and all those that came before you), your care and compassion for Parker was next to none. He sure had the best of the best. Thank you just isn't enough to express how grateful we are to you and everyone we’ve met along Parkers journey with him. Ms. Emma and sweet Lyla, both so kind and compassionate. How you both made Parker feel, will never be forgotten. Parker went peacefully into the heavens and was greeted by our loved ones gone before us. Baby Brother Ryker, Poppy Sheldon Clarke, Uncle Neil Traverse, Aunt Triffie Wadman, Great Uncle Ron Wadman, Uncle Brad Greene and many other Great grandparents, great aunts and uncles and extended family members. The love he left is small in comparison to the new love he now knows. We are grateful for our time with him and are rejoicing for him in this next part of his journey. A light like his never truly burns out. Rest easy now our sweet boy Until we meet again, Just keep swimming!
