Passed away peacefully away at her home in Point Lance Mrs. Mary Gardiner surrounded by her loving family July 30, 2022, age 93 years. Predeceased by loving husband Din of 62 years, son Dennis, granddaughter Brenda and members of the Careen and Gardiner family. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her precious family: Maurice (Betty), Maude(Tommy) Margie (Bob), Philip (Ellen), a precious son who was her rock and foundation. Marie (Melvin) stepson Mike (Charmaine). 12 precious grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, sisters: Lena Moore, Catherine Conway, sister-in-law Annie Careen, and a large circle of relatives and friends. Our dear, kind, and devoted mom, nanny, aunt, and true friend, blessed our lives, with her very warm, Caring soul along with her wisdom, she was an amazing and Inspiring role model, always demonstrating love, peace and concern for family and others throughout our lives. She had a way of making everyone feel important and value retaining information about their lives and always asking for updates in her concerning and sincere manner. She had a special charisma that drew people toward her engaging meaningful interactions with all. Those who knew her felt blessed and privileged to be part of her circle. In her presence, there was an essence of Godliness, her faith and devotion to God and St. Anne, and her many prayers for all was sincere. She prayed with devotion and true intention receiving peace in her heart in return. Her sleep was peaceful once her nightly Rosary and Prayers was completed. Her beautiful eyes would light up every month when Parish Priest visited to give her Holy Communion. To an honorably mention to the Health Care Professionals who cared for Mom over the years, especially the last week. To her favorite and precious grand daughter and nurse Miranda Careen, to Public Health Nurse Vivian Careen, Doctors Alfiya,. Dr. Rockel, Dr. Kay, and nurse Joyce O’Reilly. Miranda & Vivian, thank you both so much for helping Philip with the care she needs over the last week God Bless you all. A visitation will take place at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Tuesday from 12:30 – 1:30, and at 2:00 p.m. they will be leaving Coombs Funeral Home, to bring Mary back home. Visitation will take place at Mary Queen of Peace Church, at Point Lance on Tuesday Evening and on Wednesday. Funeral Mass to take place on Thursday August 4th, 2022 at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Point Lance at 2:00 p.m. No Flowers by request. Funeral arrangement entrusted to Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia SHE LIVED HER LIFE LIKE A CANDLE IN THE WIND
