Obituary of Francis (Frank) Flood

May 29, 1962 January 22, 2022 It is with Great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Francis Flood (Frank) Predeceased by his Parents Elizabeth and Allan Flood and his wife Josephine Murphy. Frank was known for his laughter, singing and great dancing. He loved to sing and did so everywhere he went. Frank was a proud Newfoundlander and it showed in his true character. He had a heart of gold and loved his family and friends dearly. Frank made a life for himself and lived in Toronto for many years, but a big part of his heart was always in Newfoundland. Although he didn’t get a recent trip back home before he passed, when he did come home he always helped fix up and decorate his parents gravesite. His wish was to be buried with his parents and we are thankful to be able to grant his wish. Frank leaves to mourn his girlfriend Nancy (sons Chris and Patrick) whom he loved dearly, his Kids Johnathan (Candace), Crystal, Brian, and Melissa (Ray). All of his Grandkids, whom he thought the world of. His siblings George (Pat), Lorraine, Alice (Tim), Betty, Allan Jr (Leona), Florence (Brian), Arthur (Joan), Agatha (Phonse, predeceased), Mary (Bobby), Stan (Tammy) and Barb (Dean). and a long list of Nieces and Nephews. Frank was loved by many and will be missed by everyone who knew him. He was a Joy to be around and was always the life of the party” Visitation will take place at Coombs Funeral Home on Friday, July 8 from 1:00 - 9:00.
