Passed away, as peacefully as she lived her life, surrounded by her loving family, Ann Theresa (Dunphy) Coombs, age 89, at the Lions Manor Nursing Home on Thursday, November 25th, 2021. Predeceased by her husband, Thomas; children, Rosemary, Gerard, Richard, Patsy, and Derek; parents, Peter and Martha Dunphy; brothers, William (Stella), Peter, Andrew, and Gerald; mother and father-in-law, Richard and Annie Coombs, brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Kenneth, Margaret, Mary, Mona, and Rita Kean (Stan); nephew, James Coombs. Left with treasured memories are her children, Francis (Jeanette), Peter, Ken (Jocelyn), Tommy (Gladys), Ann Marie Barry (Tom); grandchildren, Andrew Coombs, Jennifer Mulrooney (Darren), Patrick Ennis, Thomas Coombs, Shannon and Laura Rose Barry; great grandchildren, Logan and Lacey Mulrooney; treasured friend, Karen Mulrooney (Kenny); niece and nephews, Billy, Jerry and Danny Dunphy, Mary O’Keefe, and John Kean; her Martin family(Mamie, Carmella, Geraldine, Doreen and their families)in the United States along with many other relatives and friends, especially her former caregivers, Joan, Pearl, Anne, Kendra, Michelle and Linda; the staff at the Lions Manor Nursing Home, especially her dear friend and roommate, Mrs. Annie Barry and her family. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Sunday, November 28th from 12-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Monday, November 29th, 2021 at Holy Rosary Church, Freshwater at 10:30 a.m., Interment to follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery, Freshwater. Due to Covid regulations, attendance at Mass is by invitation only. Vac Passes are required at the Funeral Home. Mom lived a life strong in faith and genuine love for her family. Children were always her greatest treasure. May her gentle soul Rest In Peace . “I love you inside out and upside down”
