Obituary of Norbert Griffin

It is with great love and sadness that we announce the passing of a loyal and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Norbert Griffin, who passed away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on July 1, 2021, at the age of 69. Norbert was a heavy equipment operator for most of his working life. He was a hard worker with a strong work ethic. He had so much strength all his life even during the last days before his passing. He was a quiet, caring, and kind person and was well respected by all who knew him. Predeceased by his parents, Robert and Alice Griffin, sisters, Ann and Christina. Left with loving memories, his wife Barbara of 50 years, his two sons, Norbert (Tammy) and Keith (Denise). His four beautiful grandchildren, Alyshah (Chad), Brady (Emma), Ethan, and Jaden, one precious great-granddaughter, Reya, and his loving mother-in-law, Jose Newman. All of whom he adored. Also leaving to mourn are his two brothers, John (Joan) and Clarence, and two sisters, Irene (Eugene) and Marcella. Cremation has taken place Visitation will take place at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Friday, August 6, 2021 from 4:00 - 8:00.
