Sincere condolences to Lester and Stella and all the Power family on the passing of your loved one.
I have great memories of Clarissa while I was working at Placentia Cottage Hospital.
When the residence was full, the wards full and everything at it's peak everyone 'quite busy 'it was a treat to walk in the dining room and Clarissa was there.
She had an innate ability to calm things out with her big but gentle smile.
Always cooking for all hands but never 'frazzled'.
Wish things were different so the staff could get around and tell all the good stories but that's life and' that too will pass' please God.
May you treasure the good memories, I'm sure you have lots of them.
Rest in Peace Clarissa.God Bless.
Agnes and Andy Careen.

Sending our heartfelt condolences to family and friends on the passing of Aunt Clarissa.
Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers.
Found this poem to pay tribute to my beautiful Aunt.
“Heaven Gained an Angel Today”
Heaven gained an angel today
She flew up on the wings of love
Now she has left our earthly way
To watch over us from heaven above
She lived among us for 87 years
Giving us her love and reverence
There were times she took away our fears
And showed us peace and silence.
She lived a long life through times of good and bad
Throughout her life she helped many that were down
She rejoiced in our happy and comfort us in our sad
She always knew how to get a smile from our frown
Now she’s gone her spirit sores high
Amongst the angels she now dwells
As we say our earthly goodbye
We hear the greetings of heavens bells.

RIP my beautiful Aunt Clarissa...you will be missed more than words can say. You will always hold a special place in my heart.

Stella & Stan and all the Power family
My deepest sympathy on the death of your Mom, grandmother, great grandmother. She was a beautiful person. I smile as I think of her. I visited her often throughout the years. We always had a great chat laugh and a cup of coffee and delicious cookies and cake. She had such an easy laugh, saw the funny side of things. You have treasured memories of her. May these memories and the support of family and friends comfort you as you grieve her loss. She is now enjoying her heavenly home. Wish I could visit but know I will hold you in prayer and thought. The Sisters of Mercy prayed for you at prayer this morning.
Love and prayers,
Sister Bridget Patterson

My condolences to you and your family at this sad time. It’s even sadder because of COVID and how that limits our ability to visit you and celebrate the life of this beautiful lady. As my mother would say “ she’s so lucky, she’s got that over with”. I see the wisdom in that comment. Life is a circle, there is a time to be born, a time to live and a time to die.. I believe there comes a point in our lives, especially as we get older, that really, there are things that are worse than dying. Death is a way of reuniting with our loved ones that have passed.. It is her time. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

So sorry to hear of Clarissa’s passing. Condolences to Stella, Tom and her entire family. In the short period of time that I knew her, I saw a strong woman who, in spite of her ailing health, kept her family in her mind and heart. She could recite all of the names of her children with pride. She loved her music and her cup of tea. Rest in peace Clarissa. Stella, I respect you so much for the care you gave your mom. Hugs to you all!! ❤️ Arlene Young Mobility Footcare
