The maximum number of people permitted in the Funeral Home at one time is 20 people. All visitors must sign in and sign out for contact tracing purposes, and masks must be worn at all times. Sunrise: June 13, 1930 ...............Sunset: October 26, 2020 Teresa Ellen Gelinas (nee Nash) formerly of Branch, S.M.B. After a long battle with Alzheimer's Teresa quietly passed away at the Placentia Lions Manor Nursing Home, Placentia in the arms of her daughter Linda, on October 26th, 2020. Teresa was predeceased by her parents Henry and Catherine, brothers Stephen, George and Henry, sisters Mary, Rita and Evelyn. She is survived by her son Robbie, daughter Linda, grandchild Jamie, special nephew Henry Power, good friend Gussie Power and a large number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Teresa had a great devotion to her Faith, once returning to Branch she would travel to St. John's weekly to attend the Latin Mass. Teresa was a lady who loved to pray, shop and enjoyed going out to lunch and loved to dance. To the staff at the Lions Manor Nursing Home, Placentia and the Callingwood Downs Home, Clarke's Beach, we extend our many thanks for their kindness, and wonderful care you all gave Teresa over the past number of years. Visitation to take place at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Tuesday October 27 from 11:00 - 12:30. Funeral Mass to take place at Holy Rosary Church, Branch on Tuesday October 27, at 2:00 p.m., with interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Branch. In lieu of Flowers donations can be made to Holy Rosary Church, Branch. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Public Health Emergency, visitation is permitted with restrictions.
