My Deepest Condolences to Bridget Mary and Family and Friends of Patrick.
The Little Flower is sailing on the clouds now fair winds home to heaven.
We have so many memories to treasure of Patrick,He was all about Music and Friends and so many he had.
Our Red Island will never be the same without him,no more dancing or stories to be told.
But we thank god for all the time we had with you,and we will still listen for the little putt putt to come in the harbour.
But your happy now Patrick with your family and out of all pain.Rest easy my Friend until we meet again.

It is with much sadness that we extend our deepest condolences to you Bridget and your family on the passing of your dad.
Patrick was a very kind gentle man who loved people and enjoyed life to the fullest and was always dressed like a stick of chewing gum. He always had a smile and made time to stop and have a chat. He loved his home Red Island and made the trip across the bay many times in his boat the Little Flower. You could see the pride in his eyes when he sang the Red Island song that was written by his brother Fred. Everyone knew Patrick was coming when we heard the Little Flower putt putting into the harbour. He loved to entertain us in Red Island with his accordian and his story telling and we so enjoyed it. We looked forward to his visit every evening after supper. We would look out the window and see him going around the harbour and he would visit every person on the Island before he said good night. I can't imagine Red Island without him. Patrick we know you are now in a better place where there is no more pain or suffering but it doesn't make it any easier knowing you are no longer with us. You will be missed by all those who where lucky enough to have you as a friend. Patrick may you have calm seas and smooth sailing as you take your final voyage home in the Little Flower, You will be always remembered and never forgotten. R.I.P my friend.

Family of Paddy, sincere condolences. Known him since the mid fifties, brought the draft barrow with him, unloading fish from W.W. Wareham’s boats in Buffett. Great guy, same to everyone, always a smile and dressed to the nines. RIP friend.

Our sincere condolences to Paddy's family and friends. I always enjoyed a chat with Paddy. I recall one evening we went into Port Royal and the only boat there,at the time, was The Little Flower. After tying up we decided to walk over to Buffet to visit some friends. Along the way we met Paddy coming and he had a great meal of trout. We had our usual chat and I asked him if he was staying in Port Royal overnight. "No bye" he said, " going to head up to Red Island shortly and the tankers better get out of the way." That was Paddy - always in good humour, always with a laugh. May he rest in peace.

Bridget & Family,
Please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of your dear loved one. Patrick. A kind and gentle man who had a smile for everyone. He always took that extra time to stop and have a chat. I remember during his weekly masses where he would stop and greet some of his friends before mass. I always looked forward to him stopping by my seat and asking how I was doing also. Then he would hurry back to his regular seat in church with a grin on his face before Mass began. I will miss him dearly.
A loyal Red Island man, who loved his little community and always looked forward to his frequent visits. His little boat made many trips across to his beloved Red Island. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. R.I.P. Mr. Paddy
This poem is very fitting to describe this sweet gentleman
A Silent Tear
Just close your eyes and you will see,
All the memories that you have of me.
Just sit and relax and you will find,
I’m really still there inside your mind.
Don’t cry for me now I’m gone,
For I am in the land of song.
There is no pain, there is no fear,
So dry away that silent tear.
Don’t think of me in the dark and cold,
For here I am, no longer old.
I’m in that place that’s filled with love,
Known to you all, as ” up above”.

To Bridget and family and the many friends of Patrick:
Sincere condolences on the passing of Patrick. His suffering is now over and he is in a better place.
Another great Red Islander gone from our lives, but never from our memory. Patrick was known for his sense of humor, his friendliness and his great gift of song and storytelling. He was the life of the party for sure and he will be missed by so many, not only in our cabins on Red Island, but among his many friends in Placentia and everywhere he went. RIP Patrick
