Obituary of Trevor Edward Penney

Passed suddenly but peacefully away at his home in Beckley, West Virginia on August 22, 2019 (formerly of Branch, NL). Trevor is predeceased by his grandfathers Peter Penney and William McGrath as well as a number of aunts and uncles. Leaving to mourn with broken hearts and precious memories are his parents Eddy and Michelle (Penney) McGrath, as well as his brothers Nico and Nathan. His loss will be especially felt by his precious little boy Drightan; Trevor’s partner Desonja Watson and her two beautiful daughters, Allexia and Avalyn; his grandmothers Mary Penney (Peter Murphy) and Bride McGrath; also a large number of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends who will cherish his memory forever. Trevor loved playing guitar and was a brilliant graphic designer. Dear to his heart was his Newfoundland home and he looked forward to returning there again one day. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia, NL. Visitation to take place at Holy Rosary Church, Branch, NL on Saturday, August 31st at 2pm, and on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. (with the prayer service to take place at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday evening),The Funeral Mass will take place at Holy Rosary Church, Branch on Monday, September 2nd at 2pm ,with inurnment to follow at Roman Catholic  Cemetery. Branch. No doubt, his poppy Peter Penney with whom Trevor had a special bond, was waiting with open arms to welcome him to his heavenly home.

In life, we loved you dearly, in death, we love you still,

in our hearts you hold a place, no one else will ever fill.
