Strickland, Lucy (née McGrath) 1920-2018
The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Tuesday, April 17th, 2018, at the age of 97 years. Daughter of the late John McGrath and of the late Marguerite (née Sperance). Predeceased by her husband Emile Strickland, her children Georges, Jerome, Adrien and John, her 4 brothers George, Donald, John and Patrick as well as by her sister Dorothy . Loving mother of André, Betty Serré, Ralph, Emile, Rodney and Jeanne Proulx., sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 19 grand-children and her 8 great grand-children. Dear sister of David, Christabell Conway, and Edward. Visitation will take place at the Sacred Heart  Church, St. Bride's on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 12:00 - 2:00, Funeral Mass will take place at 2:00 , with inurnment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Bride's.  Funeral arrangements entrusted to Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia.
