Passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018, Mercedes Power (Pittman, from Merasheen Island)  age 87 of Freshwater.  Predeceased by her husband William, brothers Ignatius, Phonse, Peter and Jack, sisters Catherine & Violet, parents Ellen & Michael Pittman, .She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Theophilus, Phonse, Kevin (Judy), Shirley, Dolores (Mick), Bill Jr., Theresa (Cliff), Cathy, Mark and Bonaventure (Nathalie), 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren,sister in laws : Mary, Jean , Madeline and Winnie, and a large circle of other relatives and friends.  Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Saturday from 3:00 - 9:00 and Sunday from 2:00 - 9:00 with Funeral Mass to take place on Monday June 25, 2018 at Holy Rosary Church, Freshwater at 10:30 a.m,, with interment to follow in Coombs Memorial Cemetery, Southeast.
