Obituary of Laura Tucker

Passed  peacefully away at her home in Placentia on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, Laura Tucker age 84 years.  Predeceased by her husband Robert (Bob), her parents Robert & Sarah Spurell, sister Gertie and husband Eldon and members of the Tucker family.  She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her two daughters: Sharon (Leonard) & Janice (Mat), sons: Wayne (Marylou), Keith (Yvonne), Stephen (Georgina) and David (Mary), grandchildren Heather, Michael, Adam, Matthew, Christopher, Victoria, Jesse, Jennifer & Karen and their families, sisters: Minnie (Silas), and Linda (Bill), brothers: Paul (Darlene), Doug (Betty) and Gerald (Clarice), and families, brother in law Dr. Walter Tucker (Marian) and family, also a large circle of other relatives and friends, especially the members of her "Tims" family.  She was an active member of the Placentia Hospital Ladies Auxillary and also did alot of Volunteer work for many organizations.  A special thank you to Dr. B Manget and nurses at the Placentia Health Care Center, for their care and compassion  especially  Kelly Culleton who  was there for Mom and the family anytime night or day.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Lukes Anglican Church Placentia c/o  Sharon Upshall, Box 13, RR1, Site 2, Placentia, NL, A0B 2Y0.   Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Thursday from 2:00 - 9:00 and on Friday beginning at 9:30.  Funeral Service will take place at St. Luke's Anglican Church, Placentia  on Friday May 25 at 11:00 a.m.  Inurnment to follow in Coombs Memorial Cemetery, Southeast.
