Obituary of Eugene Power

Power, Eugene , with deep sadness we announce the death of Eugene (Gene) Power at the Placentia Health Center after a courageous and hard battle against cancer on August 26, 2014 at the age of 65. Gene is predeceased by his parents Bernard and Elizabeth Power, his sisters Rita McCauley, Rose Clark and Anne LaFrance; brothers Philip, Martin Michael, Ronald and Edward; parents in-law Edward and Mary Mooney. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 42 years Anne, son David (Jennifer), daughter Lisa and precious grandsons Matthew, Mason and Owen; two brothers Derm (Rita), Jim (Agnes), sisters in-law Shirley Power, Madeline Power, Olive Power, Dorothy Power, Joan Hickey (Wilf), Kay King (Wally), Kathleen O'Brien and a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia from 2-9 p.m. on Thursday August 28 and Friday August 30. Funeral Mass to take place at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia on Saturday August 30, 2014 at 11:00 a.m., with interment to follow in Coombs Memorial Cemetery.
