McGrath, Maureen (nee Tobin) - November 20, 1959 - February 3, 2014 Entered into eternal rest at The Health Science Center, Monday, February 3, 2014 at 10 A.M., age 54 years of Patrick's Cove, formerly of Ship Cove, Placentia Bay. It is with great sadness we announce her passing. Predeceased by her parents Gerald Sr. and Annie Tobin and brother Junnie Tobin. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of memories her husband Calvin, daughters Tracy (Ray) and Cavelle. Three grandsons, Daylen & Parker Smith and Rylan Hawco. Foster sisters Anna Parsons (Harry), Chantel Hamel. Five brothers Harold (Joan), Ben (Elizabeth), Bertie (Georgina), Donald (Theresa), Norman (Darlene). Ten nieces Sandra, Gailene, Gina, Roberta, Melissa, Vanessa, Jessica, Vicky, Debbie and Carolanne. One nephew Colin Tobin. Twelve great nieces and nephews Jonathon, Clayton, James, Madison, Lucas, Portia, Siobhan, Jack, Emma, Allison, Emily and Sam. Special friends Lorraine Barnett (Randy), Amy Dodge (Eric), Genevieve Hughes (Viv), Eugenia Lesley (Kevin), Lisa Chafe (Paul), Joan Hawco (Raymond), Julie Porter (Bill), Rosalind McGrath (Howie), Cindy Smith (Howard & Jason) and their families. Joining us in our sorrow is also a huge circle of family and friends. Special thanks to the staff of HSC Ambulatory Center and of the HSC 4NA who's care, compassion and kindness have been greatly appreciated. Also to April Thompson, Gailene Tobin, Sandra Tobin-Careen and Joseph McGrath for travelling so far to be with the family. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 - 9 Funeral Mass to take place Thursday February 6, 2014 at St. Patricks Church, Patricks Cove at 1:00 P.M.
