Tom Finn Passed peacefully away on March 26, in the presence of his devoted sisters, at The Glenbrook Lodge in St. John's, Tom Finn, age 80 years. Tom was a longtime resident of Jerseyside, NL where he operated Finn's Taxi Service to St. John's. Predeceased by his parents Richard, Mary & Marguerite Finn, brothers Joe & Richard Finn and sister Mary Ryan. Left with fond memories are sisters: Helen (Joe Coady, St. John's), Betty (Nick Butorac, Mount Pearl); brothers: Eddie (Marg, Channel-Port aux Basques), Gus (St. John's), John (Jerseyside); brother-in-law: Jim Ryan (Ottawa); many nieces and nephews; loyal visitors: Ned Bruce, Gerald & May English; other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the wonderful staff of the Glenbrook Lodge for their exceptional care of Tom over the last nine years and especially during the last week. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia, with visitation on Saturday March 30 & Sunday March 31 from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral mass will take place on Monday April 1 at 11a.m. from Sacred Heart Church, Placentia. Cremation and private inurnrment at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Placentia to take place at a later date. Donations in Tom's memory may be made to the St. John's SPCA or Beagle Paws. May he rest in peace.
