Heartfelt condolences to Jackie, Joyce, Denise, Dominic and Diane and all your families and all Dominic's brothers and sisters, so sad about the passing of Dominic.
I have lots of good memories growing up of Dominic over at our house.
My father was a pretty good carpenter but he depended on Dominic for the fine work as in cabinets or doors.
I remember Daddy saying now set down Dom 'no rush', but Dominic never believed in an idol moment.
He was a man that loved the Cove , and even though he moved with his family after losing his dear wife Elsie he returned often to Mass and it was always so good to see him.
May you rest in perfect peace Dominic your great work is done , God Bless.

We are heart broken since learning the sad news of Dominic’s passing . Dominic was one of the best men to come out of Patrick’s Cove . My father Anthony thought the world of him & always spoke highly of him , not only because daddy was his uncle but Dominic’s second name was called after him .
Eddy also enjoyed visiting your father when he lived in the Cove & got a kick out of him . Eddy always said what a great worker he was . They had a great trip to Branch one day just driving around. Elsie was worried but they were the best kind and had a grand day . Unfortunately we are unable to make it to Coombs in the next couple of days but rest assured you are in our thoughts & prayers . To Jackie, Joyce, Denise, Dom, and Diane my sincere condolences and sympathies on hearing the sad news of uncle Dominic’s passing. I’ve been far removed from home for many years and have missed out on so much but I was so happy to have had an opportunity to visit uncle Dom last year if only for a short time. Although I knew he wasn’t in great health, he took time to host and chat. We had a wonderful time catching up after so many years and he was a true gentleman the whole visit. There is no doubt he will be terribly missed but there’s a lifetime of great memories for you all to hold on to. Wishing you all peace, and strength as you navigate through this difficult period.

It is with great sadness that I learned of the passing of Mr. McGrath.
I count myself fortunate to have been welcomed into his home and to have shared a meal at his table with him, Elsie, and young Dominic. On the several occasions I visited Patrick’s Cove, they treated me as though I were someone they had known for years—no different than family. There was never any thought of leaving until I had enjoyed a full meal.
Mr. McGrath was truly the salt of the earth and one of the warmest, kindest people I have ever had the privilege of meeting.
May God grant comfort and strength to all who mourn his passing, and may the cherished memories he leaves behind bring peace to his family and friends in the days ahead. May he rest in eternal peace.
