Obituary of Alex Dunphy

With heavy hearts we remember our loved one, Alex. He passed away after a tragic car accident on Tuesday, June 9th, 2026 at the age of 68 years. Alex moved back home from Winnipeg in May 2022. He is survived by his special love, Millie; his brother, Jerome; sisters, Diane O'Reilly (Kevin) and Mary Ellen; his nephew, Chris (Erin) and their children, Michael, Matthew and Mason. Alex is predeceased by his mother, Catherine (nee Crawley) 2002; his father Patrick in 2020 and his baby brother, Christopher in 1966. Alex will be missed by all of his cousins, friends and his special furry friends. Alex had a larger than life attitude. He always enjoyed his game of pool and he was looking forward to moving into his house when it was completed. As our brother, Alex was always very caring and thoughtful. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at Coombs Funeral Home from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. in Coombs Memorial Chapel. Inurnment to follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery, Freshwater.
