Joseph Martin Coffey; November 27, 1961 – May 16, 2026 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joseph Martin Coffey on May 16, 2026, at the age of 64. Predeceased by his loving Mother, Catherine Coffey; Father, Aloysius Coffey; Brothers, Shawn, Melvin “Copper,” and Eugene; and his precious Granddaughter, Hope Riley Malcolm. Leaving to mourn with cherished memories are his loving wife of 38 years, Jenny Coffey; his only daughter, Jessica Coffey and her husband Ricardo (Adrian); and his three beloved granddaughters, Natalia Coffey, Adrianna Malcolm, and Emilia Malcolm. Also left to mourn are his brothers and sisters Gary, Aloysius “Wish,” Raymond, Sheldon “Buck,” Jacqueline, Yvonne, Kimberley Ann, Cathy Ann, and Caroline, along with many extended family members and friends. Joseph will be remembered for his love of family, his strength, his wonderful sense of humour, and his contagious laugh that brought joy to those around him. He will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew him. “Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.” Funeral arrangements entrusted to Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia. Visitation on Tuesday, May 19th, 2026 from 12-5 p.m. Cremation to follow. Funeral Mass will take place at Sacred Heart Church in St. Bride's on Friday, May 22, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Inurnment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Bride's. Family will be leaving the Funeral Home on Friday, May 22 at 12:00 p.m. to process to the church in St. Bride's.
