I want to remember my sister, Greta with many happy memories. First of all , she was a true Irish lady. Greta valued her family and friends. Greta had a warm spirit of giving and she was really full of life. Her personality was with a kindness to all, a hard worker and she had a great sense of humor. We shared many outings and she was the driver who got lost here in Ontario many times, only to laugh her way out to the correct direction. We would talk for hours and again many laughs included. Sister, you will never be forgotten. May God Bless.

She was the best Nan a grandchild could ask for. She loved us all unconditionally. She always had my back even when I was in the wrong. I will always cherish my time with her. From spending my summers with her when her and Pop lived in Sudbury to our road trips to New Brunswick. Would even just sleep over in my late teens early 20s just to spend time with her and Pop. I loved her more then she would ever know. Rest Peacefully G-ma. We love you.

Condolences to Arnie, her husband and all of her Children, Family & Friends. Sorry for your Loss of your Wife & Mom.
I could go on forever about Greta, about the Beautiful soul person she was. I got to know Greta in Freshwater when I first started babysitting for her as a Teenager in Dunphy’s Yellow house on Dunphy’s hill. That house was the scariest house ever. When she moved in Bill’s house on the Bottom. I enjoyed so much better. To say the least I took her kids sledding on that hill there so much. Greta always gave me some wonderful gifts for babysitting for her and paid me well, I still have this Choker green necklace she bought me back from her Toronto vacation. I loved that necklace, as I went out and cooked some dinners for Arnie while he worked, when Greta was away. I have a picture of myself of this Winter Hat she gave me as a gift once, I loved that Brown hat. Even when they moved back to Point Verde, I went up there and babysat in her Moms house to, it was a scary house to and Arlene was a little Devil then and scared me many times in her Mom’s original home. I am so happy I was a part of her family for so long, as I got to know her many sisters and became friends with them. I loved our Gambling outings & many Family functions in Toronto.
All I can say about Greta, is all good things, a giving & loving person to all her Kids, Grandkids, Sisters, Family & Friends. When I had my girls, she also gave them many gifts, and so many toys. I still have Blankets she gave them. May God Bless her Soul and that she Rest In Peace and be Welcome into the Kingdom of Heaven by her Family & Friends, will miss her Dearly. I could go on forever about this loving, Beautiful woman, Wife, Mother & Grandmother. I remember her talking of her Grandson Shane so much and how much she missed him when she lived in Hamilton, he must of been real Special to her. Greta will be missed, loved and thought of a lot for many years to come. I wish I had gotten to see her one more time for one more chat. So happy I visit Greta my last 2 times in NL in 2021 & 2023. XoXo

Sending my sincere condolences to Greta’s family. I have such beautiful memories of the time we all worked for Wayne on the base. Greta always made sure we had a ride to and from work without hesitation—she was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and generous. She will always be remembered for her caring nature and the way she looked out for others. Thinking of you all during this difficult time.
