Bartley McGrath ~ 1946-2026; Passed peacefully away at the Placentia Health Centre, with his brother by his side, on March 22, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Predeceased by his parents, Fredrick and Philamena (Coady) McGrath; sister, Judy Howard; brothers, Vince and Joe.
Leaving to mourn, his daughter, Stephanie (David) and grandson, Noah; his brother, Gerard and sister, Patricia (John) Langlais, Alberta; a large circle of nieces and nephews across Canada and the USA, especially, his nieces, Joann Caines (Steve), Carolann McGrath (Todd Caines) and great-niece, Chloe Caines. Also left to mourn are his many friends and the Staff at the Beachside Manor, Placentia, his home for the last 16 years; especially, Dan, Geraldine, Theresa, Maureen, Liz, Lisa, Gerri Ann, Wanda, Nicole, Cathy and his walking buddy, Cyril English.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia. At Bartley's request, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or service. Inurnment to take place at Coombs Memorial Cemetery, Southeast, Placentia at a later date.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.
