Sincere Condolences to Ed’s family and friends. I was saddened to learn of his passing. In past years when he taught in St. Edward’s Elementary in Placentia I had many conversations with him in the staff room. He was the man to go to if you had a question regarding teacher related issues. He would advocate on your behalf. Ed was certainly a well spoken educator and always put himself forward for his students and co- workers. His love for teaching was evident as he continued his role outside of his community after he retired. Ed, you will certainly be missed by all those who had the pleasure of your company. R.I.P Ed your work on earth is done.

Sincere condolences to Joan , Mary, Ed's children and all the family , so shocked and saddened to hear about Ed's passing.
I knew Ed or Mr. Moore as I always called him well from my work in the school system as school nurse.
Ed had such passion and energy about teaching you could just tell as you interacted with him in school.'
Always attentive and professional and asking if I needed supplies set up or how he could help.
Did run in to him recently and never shy of a conversation .He dearly loved Qatar and his experience there.
To his family and friends keep your precious memories close to your hearts as you get through the difficult days.
Ed may your gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
Hugs to the family.
Agnes and Andy.

I was both surprised and saddened to hear of Ed's passing. In his early teaching days, Ed spent considerable time at Fatima, in St. Bride's. A fine teacher, and a great staff member, he had boundless energy and was up for any school initiative we had on the go. In subsequent years it was a pleasure to meet up with him and bring each other up to speed on life's happenings. Please accept our sincere condolences and deepest sympathy on your huge loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My condolences to all members of Ed's family and his many friends.
I met Ed through our mutual involvement in NLTA. Ed was a dedicated teacher and loyal member of our teachers' association. He always expressed the views of the teachers in his branch and supported NLTA at every opportunity.
Thank you Ed for your efforts to promote education and lead teachers at the branch and provincial levels.

Our deepest condolences to Ed's family at this difficult time. I first met Ed through NLTA many years ago. We were both Branch Presidents and later Provincial Executive members of NLTA. He was never shy about sharing his views on issues facing our profession and the education system in general. Last year I was fortunate enough to meet him again. He shared some of his health issues, but as always he was a fighter, not a quitter. Rest in peace Ed. May the family hold on to the memories of happier times. Art and Alice Baggs, Badger

To my dear friend Joan and siblings, to Kaila, Devon and Jeremy, to Mary and all of Edward's extended family and friends, I extend my sincere condolences. I truly hope that your wonderful memories of Ed will bring you comfort and help you through this incredibly sorrowful time. I have known Ed since I was a student at Laval and Mr. Moore was starting his teaching career. Always animated, interesting, and even entertaining, he knew how to garner student attention; and I enjoyed his classes. Later, as a teacher myself, I admired and appreciated his constant dedication to improving our profession, and his longtime involvement in the NLTA. Whether in a school, or in a social setting, any time I ran into Ed over the years, he was always friendly and chatty; always genuinely interested in what I had to say, and always full of stories of his experiences in Qatar... I will remember him fondly. Rest in peace, Edward!
