To Rodney’s Family I send sincere condolences from myself and Stephen. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
One of my fondest memories is Rodney leaving his Speller in school so he wouldn’t have to do his words for a Spelling test the next day. He thought he was in the clear. Mom (Loretta) had another plan. I was babysitting Sherry and Sean that evening. Loretta called to see if Sean had his studying finished as she wanted to borrow his Speller. She came to get the Speller. She was beside herself as Rodney didn’t want to do the studying. I chuckle to this day of the memory because Rodney turned out to be an awesome young man thanks to the persistence of his Mom and Family. Rest in Peace Rodney. God bless you all.

To Rodney's family:
I am sorry to hear of your sudden and tragic loss. Rodney was a dear friend of mine and I have many fond memories of him which have been in my thoughts all week. We shared many good times growing up; running up and down Smelt River, teaching me to fly fish, checking his snares in the middle of winter and his visits to me in university when he had a break from the Hopebrook Gold mine are just a few. I marveled at how he could listen to a song on the radio and pick up the guitar and play it. I will miss his embellished stories. His motto was, "never let the truth get in the way of a good story". He told many good stories. I am glad I got to see him the last time I was home. All the best to you all at this difficult time.

Mrs. Nash and family, my sincerest condolences on Rodney's sudden passing. To say the least I was shocked to hear the news. Rodney was a lifelong friend going back to all our younger years in school and at many times, usually with a group of us, being out and about on the weekends and holidays. Rodney certainly loved the outdoors and was a fine huntsman. Again, sorry for your loss and Rodney, rest easy my friend.

To Mrs. Nash, Frankie, Karyn, Kailee and Stephanie;
There are no words for you to help on the loss of your son, father and brother Rodney my heart breaks for you.
I remember there last year when I was in the legion for a funeral and he gave me a ride to Coombs Cemetery and I remember saying to him that I am in legion in memory of my father and he was a Merchant Marine and he said to me will Angela he was still in the war. Also how could I not say about how good he was to my friend Sharon cause Sharon did tell me how good he was to her. Special when there was a big snow storm in Southeast Placentia; Sharon used to tell me how he would clean her driveway before he even got outside to start it.
Rodney was always there to help people if he would.
Hugs to you all.
